FAYETTE COUNTY - October 23, 2025
Fayette County Commissioner Clint Sternadel has officially announced his candidacy to continue serving the residents of Precinct 2. A lifelong Fayette County resident, Sternadel brings both experience and a deep commitment to preserving and improving the community he proudly calls home.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Systems and Management, Sternadel combines a strong understanding of rural needs with practical leadership and fiscal responsibility. He has been employed by Fayette County since 2017, gaining firsthand knowledge of county operations before being appointed Commissioner. Since taking office, Sternadel has been recognized for providing a fresh perspective, thoughtful decision-making, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
“I was born and raised right here in Fayette County, and now Kristie and I are raising our two young children in the same community that helped shape who I am,” said Sternadel. “It’s important to me that the Fayette County of tomorrow is one we can all continue to be proud of, one that values hard work, supports families, and plans responsibly for the future.”
During his time as Commissioner, Sternadel has focused on maintaining and improving county infrastructure, supporting public safety, and ensuring tax dollars are used efficiently. His hands-on leadership style and willingness to listen have earned him the respect of colleagues, county staff, and residents alike.
“As we look ahead, Fayette County faces both opportunities and challenges,” Sternadel continued. “I’m running to maintain my position as your County Commissioner because I believe in building on the progress we’ve made, ensuring that growth is balanced with preservation.”
Commissioner Clint Sternadel remains dedicated to serving with integrity, common sense, and a commitment to the people of Precinct 2.
